FISHING
Ocean fishing is our pillar industry. There are 27 fishing vessels currently, including 9 tuna purse seine vessels, 14 ultra-low temperature tuna longline fishing vessels, and 2 squid fishing vessels. They are located in the high seas of the Indian Ocean, the high seas of the Atlantic Ocean and offshore areas for fishing operations. The main fish species are catfish, yellowfin tuna, bigeye tuna, cuttlefish, and octopus.
